Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated, licensed Pharmacist to join our expanding team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The Pharmacist will review and verify medication orders, oversee dispensing activities, and collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members to support safe and effective treatment for long-term care residents.

Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays are required.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, drug interactions, and patient safety.
\n
• Oversee medication preparation and dispensing to ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy procedures.
\n
• Verify medications, labeling, and documentation before dispensing.
\n
• Provide guidance and supervision to pharmacy technicians.
\n
• Communicate with prescribers, nurses, and facility staff to clarify orders and address medication-related questions.
\n
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and follow regulatory, quality control, and patient confidentiality requirements.
\n

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Pharmacist license required.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Knowledge of medication safety practices and pharmacy operations.
\n
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
\n
• Commitment to regulatory compliance and quality patient care.

• Availability to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term care, retail, or hospital pharmacy setting.
\n
• Experience with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack is a plus.
\n
